       Cocker Spaniels are a breed of dogs known for their great hunting ability.  They are excellent at following commands and retrieving prey with a gentle hold.  Though they are great hunters, they are especially well-mannered with children.  Adults seek them out as companions because they have an attentive demeanor, and enjoy attention and affection.  They are very active and love to roam and play outdoors.  Keep an eye out for this breed if you're thinking of getting a family pet.
